Cookie Policy

Last updated: 7 April 2025

This page explains how veldrisxad uses cookies and similar small files on this website, what choices you have, and how to manage those choices. We have tried to keep the language plain.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They allow the website to recognise your browser on subsequent visits and, depending on the type, to remember your preferences or collect information about how you use the site.

Not all cookies identify you as a person. Some simply record anonymous behaviour, such as which pages were viewed or how long was spent on the site.

2. Cookies We Use

We use four categories of cookies. The first category is always active. The others can be switched off below.

Essential Cookies

These are necessary for the website to function. They manage things like remembering your cookie preference (which is stored locally in your browser). They cannot be switched off. No personal data is collected beyond what is strictly necessary.

Duration: session and persistent (up to 12 months).

Analytics Cookies

Where analytics are active, these cookies help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are visited, how long is spent, and where visitors come from. The data is aggregated and does not identify individuals. We use Google Analytics for this purpose.

Duration: up to 26 months (Google Analytics default).

Marketing Cookies

Where marketing tracking is active, these cookies allow us to understand the effectiveness of paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google and Bing. They may record whether you visited our site after clicking on an advertisement.

Duration: up to 90 days.

Preference Cookies

These remember settings or preferences that improve your experience — for instance, your region or language — so you do not need to re-enter them.

Duration: up to 12 months.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on our site are placed by third-party services we use. Where analytics or advertising is active, these may include:

Each of these providers has their own privacy and cookie policies, which govern how they process any data they collect.

4. Cookie Duration

Cookies are either session cookies (deleted automatically when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (which remain on your device until they expire or you delete them). The durations applicable to each category are noted above.

5. Your Cookie Preferences

You can adjust your preferences below at any time. Essential cookies cannot be switched off. All other categories are optional.

Essential Cookies

Always active. Required for core website functionality including your cookie consent preference.

Analytics Cookies

Help us understand how visitors use this site. Data is aggregated and anonymised.

Marketing Cookies

Allow us to measure the reach of advertising campaigns. They record anonymous visit data linked to ad clicks.

Preference Cookies

Remember settings that improve your experience across visits.

Your preferences have been saved.

7. Your Rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) and related Malaysian data protection principles, you have the right to ask us what personal data we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate data, and to withdraw consent for optional processing at any time.
